Todd Pringle replied on March 15, 2010 23:31 to the question "Logging out question" in Yoono:
ducky934 - I am assuming your question is how to sign out and then sign in with a different YOONO account, is that correct? Currently we don't support signing into different accounts on the same installation of Yoono (though we intend to in the future). Our recommendation to users using Firefox is to create a second Firefox profile and install Yoono on that profile with a different account, then switch firefox profiles to use either. Not ideal, we know, but does work. Let us know if that wasn't your question.
Todd Pringle replied on March 15, 2010 22:38 to the question "Yoono Blog via RSS?" in Yoono:
Ha - looks like we didn't update that link when we updated our blog. Two things you can do:
1. Use this link: http://blog.yoono.com/feed/
2. Navigate to the blog home page in Firefox and click the RSS icon you see in the URL bar (on the right)
Let us know if you have any problems!

Todd Pringle replied on March 13, 2010 00:38 to the problem "Can't Connect to Twitter" in Yoono:
Thanks jasenjaz for the info, sorry you're seeing this issue on your end. Given the info you provided, the best thing you can do to help us is to run a debug version and send us a log file to see if it might contain data that will help us diagnose the issue. Would appreciate it if you could do that - here's how:
1. Go to the post linked below and install the debug version
2. Try to connect to Twitter once you're set up running debug, observe the problem
3. Follow the instructions to send us your log file
Here's the post with the details:

A comment on the question "The import module is loading - never stop (fb)" in Yoono:
Thanks for the note. Just to be sure - the uploader works for you unless you have font size set to large or extra large? – Todd Pringle, on March 13, 2010 00:26
A comment on the problem "Can't Connect to Twitter" in Yoono:
Couple questions:
- Are you able to sign in to Twitter.com?
- Do you have a proxy or firewall set up?
- Did a previous version of Yoono work for you or is this a new install?
Thanks! – Todd Pringle, on March 12, 2010 23:29
Todd Pringle replied on March 12, 2010 22:06 to the idea "Unread features" in Yoono:
Just an update - add-on version 7.1.5 and desktop version 1.6.5 include the ability to display only unread items (click on the updates tab and select "All unread updates").
On point #1, how would you expect this to work exactly since Yoono does not know if you are away from your computer or paying attention to the pop up updates. Would you always expect the updates to be marked as read if pop ups alerts were displayed? Oscardelgado83 - from your comment I take it you'd only want the option to mark as read FROM the pop up manually, not automatically marking them as read, for the reason mentioned. Is that correct?
Todd Pringle replied on March 12, 2010 21:56 to the idea "Have you any plans to add the vkontakte social network support?" in Yoono:
Hey Andrei - vkontakte has been suggested by several folks and we know it's a leading social network in Russia. We'd like to add it but most likely that would happen after we add a few other networks such as YouTube. That said, the best thing to do is to mark this idea as liked and get as many as your friends on vkontakte to do the same. One of the things we take into account when looking to add networks is how many user requests we have for it.
Thanks!

Todd Pringle replied on March 12, 2010 20:49 to the question "Twitter won't grant access to Yoono for one of my three accounts" in Yoono:
Very strange Tim. That should only happen if you click something like the "Cancel" button instead of "Sign In" when you're prompted to sign in. Especially strange that you've added two accounts successfully already. Just to be sure, for Twitter:
1. In Yoono Set up panel, click Twitter icon and select "Add new account"
2. In the page that appears in your browser, enter login info for that account and click "Sign In"
You should be connected. Are you following this process and seeing a message in your browser window? If so, mind taking and posting a screenshot of the message?

Todd Pringle replied on March 12, 2010 20:25 to the question "Google Talk disconnecting every few minutes" in Yoono:
Thanks for the report Caitlin. It's possible our servers are under heavier than normal load at the moment, causing this issue temporarily. If you continue to experience it, one thing you can try is creating a Yoono account if you haven't already done so. The IM service runs on different servers for guests and registered users. Click on the wrench icon to see the option for registering if you haven't already.
Let us know what you find out!

Todd Pringle replied on March 11, 2010 23:35 to the problem "Error message: "Your Yoono password is incorrect" is received after typing in a correct password. The message only displays on chatting apps." in Yoono:
Hi stacye - thanks for the report. Where are you trying to enter this password exactly? Are you on the set up panel where you see all the services and then selecting an IM service, entering a login (this should be the login for your IM service), then seeing a message about your YOONO password being incorrect? Just want to be sure we understand what is happening!
