Bookmark syncing on Mac
I am a new registered Yoono user running FireFox 3.5 on an iMacG5 and MBPro.
I turned on Bookmark synching and created an archive on the MBPro.
When synchig with the iMacG5, Yoono performed more like a merge,
creating new Bookmark or Bookmark folders below the existings ones.
I then deleted all the Bookmarks in FireFox on the iMac, and imported/restored the archive from Yoono. I told Yoono to import from Yoono onto my iMac, got the proper warning that all of the Bookmarks on the iMac would be deleted.
The import worked on the Bookmark Folder level for the Bookmarks menu and toolbar, however, all of the bookmark entries inside each folder are reversed top to bottom. I keep Bookmark folders alphabetized manually, and on the iMac they are now in reverse order starting with z bookmarks going down to a.
Concerned that using the "sharing" feature may result in duplicate entries in the Bookmark folders as they do not align alphabetically.
Thank you for a useful add-on.

Inappropriate?Hi Alex. Thanks for the great explanation and sharing your concerns.
Based on personal experience and syncing bookmarks between two computers using Firefox (A Windows & Mac) I've never had an issue with duplicates.
Bookmark syncing isn't free of issues but it's a very reliable feature that has been in our product for a year but I can't stress enough that backing up your bookmarks to a 2nd drive is very important as it backing up all of your data even if it's stored online somewhere.
