bugs and bad support.
Discovery links won't shut off, I tried via the drop down menu and its not enabled, i tried turning it on then off, then restarting... Also tried via the discovery window that pops up, and yet I still get the magnify glass everytime i select text.
This seems like a bug, and I'm going to uninstall.
Also I never heard back from support on the random page option yoono used to have, why is this gone, it was my favorite feature!

Inappropriate?Hi Titan.
1. You can disable discovery links by locating the magnifying glass at the bottom right hand corner of Firefox. Click this and uncheck, "enable discovery links" and this will disable that feature.
If you've tried this and it's not working I'd be happy to follow next steps to get this resolved.
When did you contact support, which method and what was the question? I'll happily address it here.

Inappropriate?Discovery links do indeed disappear when you turn that option off, but the magnifying glass icon (the thing bugging the OP) still appears when selecting text. It is VERY intrusive, annoying and after several head-scratching days trying to disable it, I'm on the verge of uninstalling Yoono too.
I realise this is a free product and we should be grateful :D but whoever thought it was a good idea to conceal content around selected text with a graphical icon does not have a background in UI design.
I’m disappointed

Hi Walker. We've received great feedback on this and I think something will resolve this issue for you soon. -
Inappropriate?Hi adam!
this is Titan1x77...just used my openID this time. The method i think was forums, not a big deal, but never got an answer.
Question was, what happen to the random page based off my bookmarks, it had a dice icon?... I really liked this feature and thought it was something similar to stumbleupon, but on a smaller scale.
also, i'll be happy to try yoono again, once this bug is resolved.
thanks for your time.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hey Titan. I believe you're talking about either discoveries or webnotes.
Click on the upside down triangle and locate "manage widgets" you should find what you need in there.
-
Inappropriate?Nope it was a "feeling lucky" type thing with a dice icon, it was based on my bookmarks and took me to a random page.

That feature was possibly removed in May when we updated the UI and feature set of Yoono. That icon was the icon for webnotes but I can't be certain. I'll get another employee involved that will no more. -
Inappropriate?Titan 1x77b, this was a feature in our discovery widget that was removed when we transitioned to version 6.0 in May.
It was a feature that wasn't used very often and didn't server a purpose but I have heard that it could be added back later. I don't have a time frame or definite answer on that.
