Discovery seems like an unfinished idea
How come each time I select only a certain number of channels in Discovery widget e.g. videos and shopping, it resets each time I reopen the browser and all the channels show again?
Also, why is search limited to only 20 or so items as regards pictures and videos?

Inappropriate?Hi Jaime. Are you saying that by using the Discovery Widget Options Panel and deselecting all searches except for Videos & shopping, when you restart the browser, it's not remembering that choice and it goes back to the default?
I was unable to recreate this and if that's the problem you're having, we should work on fixing it because that's not how it's designed.
If I misunderstood, please let me know.
Regarding limiting the search, yes this can certainly be improved.
The Discovery widget is certainly not in beta but I think we can safely say that no software is ever "finished" and it needs constant improvement and tweaking.

Anyway yes, you are right, I choose to have only 'videos, pictures and wikipedia' as search showing but when I close the browser and then reopen it, the other search elements (shopping and google) reappear. I wonder how to fix this... How to have it remember my preferences. I use firefox on windows Vista if that means anything.

Inappropriate?Cool. I appreciate the follow up. So, first of all, let's make sure you're running the latest version of Yoono by going to yoono.com and downloading it. Don't worry, your settings will remain intact.
The discovery widget is largely, problem free so it's interesting to hear about these issues. As far as you can remember, did it always have this problem or just start forgetting settings lately? And finally, are there any other quirks you notice of the app forgetting other things like placement of windows or connections?

I updated my yoono and now it works.. cool so all sorted. It remembers my preferences in discovery.

Ah that's great news! so glad it worked out. Wishing we could push down updates instantly but Firefox chooses when to check for updates.
