Facebook comments and updates not posting
I am unable to post a FB comment on someone's update, and I am not able to update my own status through Yoono.
When I try to post a comment on someone else's update, it says "...sending" very quickly, and then returns to the comment box with my comment still there. When I check the profile, my comment has not been posted.
When I try to update my status, I get an Error Report that says:
facebook ([my name])
Error updating status
This has been going on for a couple of days now. I'm using Yoono 7.0.4 for Firefox, and Firefox 3.5.6.

Hi Toni. It sounds to me like there is a communication issue between Facebook & Yoono that might have happened when you upgraded from 6.2.
My advice is to remove facebook from Yoono and re-add it. Actually, these instructions I posted will help you remove FB properly.

Inappropriate?Update: Clicking "like" on a post does absolutely nothing. No error, no indication that it's registered the action at all.

Inappropriate?Thank you, Adam. That appears to have fixed the problem.
When I went through the re-authorization steps, there were MANY more permissions to authorize than there were the last time I went through this process, so I'm sure that was part of the problem.

Sounds good! We do our best to make the upgrade process seamless but sometimes if you were an early Yoono user, the API authorizations get outdated and "stuck" and it's always good to start fresh.

Can you try removing Facebook from Yoono (right click on FB icon, and Remove), add it again?
That should solve the issue.

Hi Reivax: I have made sure I had the most current Yoono version, removed Facebook, closed browser and tried to add it back but it keeps hanging. Tried it 6 times but I always get this message: "The service Facebook is not responding. Please try again later" -
Inappropriate?Could it be that it's blocked by a firewall, if you are at work, for instance?
Even if you can access Facebook website, the urls Yoono is using are different (facebook API)...
