Help us solve your connection problems to your IMs (AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk) or your social networks (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter...)!
If you are having difficulties connecting or maintaining connections to your IMs or social networks, we would love to get more information from you in order to better resolve your problem.
Here are a few relatively simple steps you can follow to send us some extra information:
1/ Install the following debug version of Yoono: Yoono Debug
This is a .xpi file, if it does not open automatically with Firefox, please manually select Firefox as the program to use to open the file.
2/ Restart firefox
3/ Go to 'about:yoono-help' on your browser. You may see the following message, asking you to restart Firefox. If so, then please click on the button to restart.
4/ Otherwise you will see the messages below. Please wait for the connection issue to happen and click on the "Send Problem Report" button.
5/ You will then be presented with the form below. Please fill it out completely. Make sure to include a 2-3 lines description of the problem your are experiencing! The more information we have about your problem the more likely we will be to find out what is happening and help you resolve the issue. When you are ready to send out your message, please click on the "Submit" button. (See below)
6/ Please note that the submission of your message may take a while. You will be presented with the "sending..." message below, please be patient and do not click the "Submit" button again.
7/ You can repeat the submission process as often as you want, just make sure you wait for the problem to happen and follow the steps 4-6 again.
8/ When you are done submitting the report(s), please click on the "Quit" button below.
9/ You will be asked to reinstall the current release of Yoono. Please follow the instructions and make sure to restart Firefox. (See below)
Remember that if you are experiencing more than one problem, you can keep running the debug version and send us more reports as the problem occurs.

Inappropriate?I'm thankful for this but is there not another way to submit issues without being completely tedious in doing so?

We've certainly simplified this process but I don't foresee an easier process yet. Maybe soon but it has gotten easier since our initial release to submit bugs. -
surrealcast - you can always just tell us the problem in a new post here on Get Satisfaction but typically we can't diagnose the problem without getting your log files, which is what the above process allows us to do. We did simplify this process in our latest release (to the steps above) and we'll try to continue to refine it over time. We're a small company trying to do our best - thanks for helping. -

Inappropriate?I'd love to help with this once there's an integrated Send Debug Info button or something similar in Yoono, because it's too time-consuming when at work to go through the steps suggested above. I would love to send data on this issue, because I'm actually trying to use Yoono at work to simplify all the social tabs, outside apps, and sites that I currently use.

Inappropriate?I have experienced the disconnecting and reconnecting with Messenger since I have installed Yoono and started using the Messenger option. I tried reinstalling two times and it failed to solve the problem. I am running Yoono 6.2 and Firefox 3.5.6. I finally had to stop using the Messenger option because it was annoying my contacts with "XXXXX just signed in". I really think this could be a pretty cool tool if it worked.
