How do I hide avatars when using Google chat in Yoono sidebar?
I have been using Google Chat from within the Yoono sidebar for a while now, but two things about the default interface bother me:
1) I don't see the notification that "so-and-so is typing," when my friend is composing an instant message, such as one sees when chatting inside the Gmail or other Google sites' UI. How can I get that in here as well?
2) Unlike the chat UI within a Google page, the pictures that people have chosen as their avatar appear on every line that they type (in the sidebar chat). Please tell me how to turn that off. Not only does it take up space, it makes it obvious to anyone walking past my desk at work that I am chatting in the sidebar.

Inappropriate?Hi Amanda. I believe your feedback is based on feedback that we've received and is working as it should but it would be very handy if you could take a screen grab and upload it here so I can view it.

Inappropriate?I think the ability to turn off chat avatars in googletalk is something you would need to set on Google. There are several different formats for chat you can pick... and it appears that Yoono is using your Google default. Just turn it off there :)
I’m helpful? Maybe? :)

disregard... see below! -
Inappropriate?FOUND IT!
Right click (or option click) on the Gtalk logo. Select options. Under the Gtalk tab it has box for Avatar size. Select none. GONE! :)
I’m relieved it was easy :)

Inappropriate?I think I should probably add that only the original avatar posted is gone.
I just noticed that if someone ELSE makes a comment under the original post, it will show THEIR avatar, even though the original poster's avatar is not there. Weird.
I’m perplexed... did I find a bug?

Haha. The screenshot helps a lot. I'll pass this on. Have a good night and I'll try to get a follow up for you tomorrow.
