not connecting to facebook
I just installed yoono and set it up yesterday, and I haven't been able to connect with facebook yet, but everything else is fine. I get a "Sorry, Facebook appears to be down. We automatically reconnect you when it is back up. To try to update now, click Retry."
If I remove the facebook part and then add it back, it looks like it's going to work for a second and then the error blips up again. I checked the permissions in facebook and it should be fine...
I also tried logging out, removing the fb app, restarting firefox, and starting from scratch. nothing.

Inappropriate?Sara - we just released an updated version of Yoono today that has a fix for a Facebook problem similar to yours - can you download the new version (6.1.1) and see if that solves your issue? Inappropriate?I've tried installing, uninstalling, reinstalling, logging out of Facebook etc. It worked great for a day or so, but then today it doesn't I've tried various browsers compatible witht he Firefox add-on, but it still gives the same error.

At the bottom left hand corner of facebook.com, you'll see a pop-up box called "applications"
You can manage apps from here. please remove Yoono from here and from Yoono's sidebar, log out of facebook and add it back. This will re-authenticate Yoono to Facebook and will give us a new "key" -
This may have been temporary. So you've tried removing and re-adding the network?

It has not been working for weeks. I've uninstalled Yoono, deleted it from Facebook, and reinstalled it several times. I've deleted other add-ons and themes. It is not working on either of my computers. The message says, "Sorry, Facebook appears to be down. We will automatically reconnect you when it is back up." I've tried to change my Facebook settings, but I cannot find anything. -
Inappropriate?Kim, this thread is the best bet to getting it resolved. I'm sorry you're having these issues but sending us connection data will ultimately lead to resolving the problem.

Inappropriate?Do you know when this problem is going to be fixed. I installed it on my computer and my wife's computer and the same cannot connect to facebook error occurred on both our computers.

Will. The primary focus of our next version of Yoono is to completely resolve this issue for all users or, at the very least offer solutions for resolving this to the user based on what happens to cause the issue (network issues, firewalls, login issues).
I think you'll be very happy with our next release. -

Hi Antropo. 6.2 version of Yoono is out and has resolved many connectivity issues. Please check for an update in Firefox and let us know what the result is. You can also manually update at Http://yoono.com -

"The service Facebook is not responding. Please try again later" same message each time.
Without facebook, Yono has less interest !
But I still hope. I had the same problem with linkedin and now with Yono 7 it works. -

I have tried again right now and it has worked.
I don't know if there is a link but in my previous tries, I had choosen not to allow Yono to publish on my facebook without my permission. I had allowed it only to get the informations on my facebook. Then I did not get the other questions.
(In facts, my facebook page appears after that...)
This time I have chosen to allow Yono to publish (after all, why not) and I get several other questions about authorizations for Yono. In the end it was connected and the page "Yone is now connected to facebook" appears.

Inappropriate?Thanks for this information, I'll make further tests to check if it's related or not.
Just so that you know, Yoono will *never* publish on facebook by itself on your behalf.
The authorization just means that when you want to update your Facebook status through Yoono, it will be authorized.
It's a little bit confusing... But we would not do that kind of thing!

I dont think so, I get no connection to facebook, twitter and linkedin and I tried all combinations of access rghts with same result: Connecting to service... on yoono for firefox. -
but do you get the same message saying "The service Facebook is not responding. Please try again later" ?
