Notification settings
Why doesn't the "display alert popup" option work? I want to disable it but the pop-ups still come up on the screen. There should be settings where we can disable the pop-ups and flashing notifications when receiving a new message.

Hi Gloria. Thanks for the follow up message. I have to say that it's odd that you don't have the General Tab beside "AIM" but it may be because you have a few previous versions of the product.
Can you head to Yoono.com and download it for Firefox which will install 6.2.1 and ask to restart your browser.
Once you restart, repeat the steps and let me know what you uncover.

Hello Gloria. So it looks like you're running Yoono for Firefox.
You can disable the pop-up notifications and I'll do my best to explain how this is done via screen shots.
In the Friends Widget, locate the upside down triangle and click on it (pictured below) Click on "options" in that drop down menu.

Then, the options window will appear and you'll see at the top an option to disable the pop-up notifications.

Check that, hit "ok" and that should resolve the issue you're having.
Let me know if that answers the question. Enjoy your day!

Inappropriate?I would like to turn off pop-up notifications for updates on Twitter and Facebook. I tried to do this by going to the Notifications tab and unchecking the "display alert popup" box. I also went to the Pop Up Alerts tab and it already shows "no sound". Still, every time I get an update in Twitter and Facebook, I hear a sound and see a pop up alert.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi Toongirly. I'll check on if there are any known issues but please help me by answering a few questions.
1. Mac or PC?
2. Yoono for Firefox or Desktop?
3. Are you running the latest version of Yoono/
You can check #3 by going to Yoono.com and installing our version on the website. This will update the software and ensure you have the latest version running.
Let me know if the issue resolves itself. -

Inappropriate?Hi Adam,
Thanks so much for your quick response!
1.PC.
2.Yoono for Firefox.
3.I just downloaded the latest version of Yoono from your website. Last night, when I downloaded Yoono for the first time, I went through Firefox and they didn't have the latest version. I still seem to be getting the unwanted popup boxes, though. -
Inappropriate? We've had reports of problems with the alerting, and are working on fixing it for the next release, thanks for your patience.
