Inappropriate?Hello Simplicity. Skype would be a fantastic service to have within Yoono but adding it is another thing.
Currently, Skype doesn't allow 3rd parties to integrate with their system. There are a few hardware companies that make "made for skype" products but none of the popular messaging services support skype.
It's not possible at this time because skype won't allow it. We'd love to work with them in the future.

Thanks, please keep trying. The folks at Trillian obviously figured it out. And as far as I'm concerned, just talking about the Skype IM interface here, not the full VoIP functionality... (IMHO at least). -
We'll have to look into what Trillian did. Just a heads up, we don't "hack" our way into supporting any 3rd party services. We always use the official route so if it's not possible officially we won't add it. I'm not sure how Trillian added the feature.

You make a good point. I can't share the technical details of adding this but there are a few technical hurdles.

Inappropriate?Skype has an API to support 3rd party client to control and hook into the skype app. You would have to still have skype running in the background, but it can be done now.
