Sidebar on the wrong side
My sidebar installed onto the right side, I'd like it on the left. Is the change possible?

Inappropriate?Hell xlmc. Our sidebar is only configured to display on the left side of the window so this shouldn't happen.
Can you please take a screenshot? I'm curious and would like to confirm this visually.
-
This has stumped me. I'm escalating this to our engineering team. Thank you! -
Inappropriate?Hi xlmc
Could you let me know what other add-ons you have installed, if any ?
It's likely that one of them allows you to move the Firefox default sidebars to the right.
Unfortunately, our sidebar has no support for this location yet.
Thank you! -
Inappropriate?I have only Yoono and Personas installed on my firefox. On my other laptop, which has windows vista, I have both installed and the sidebar is on the left side.
-
Inappropriate?Can you tell me what Personas theme you are using ?
Also, if you open one of the Firefox default sidebars (from the View/Sidebar menu), is it on the right as well ?
Was firefox installed on your system or did you install it yourself, and if so, where did you download it from ?
Thanks for your help! -
I used the cosmic theme when it was installed. My other sidebars are also on the right side. My laptop came installed with firefox. -
Inappropriate?In the mean time, here is what you can try :
In Firefox, open the about:yoono page by typing about:yoono in the address bar of Firefox (instead of a web site url).
The first information on the page is the path of your firefox profile. Copy this path, then close Firefox.
With a file manager, go to that path.
It should contain a localstore.rdf file.
Rename it to localstore.bak
Launch Firefox again.
Are things better ?
Thanks for your patience while we are trying to find out a solution ! -
That didn't do anything, no. -
Inappropriate?Ok so I guess this behavior came with your firefox installation.
Here is what you can try next:
Close Firefox,
Go to your profile directory again, then go to subdirectory 'chrome'
If there is a userChrome.css file, open it in a text editor and look for this line :
-moz-box-direction: reverse;
If there is such a line, remove it.
If there is no such line, add these lines :
#browser {
-moz-box-direction: reverse;
}
Save the file, and launch Firefox again.
Sorry for all the trouble, but it looks like your Firefox installation has been modified before.
Let me know,
Thanks -

Great ! thanks for the update. -
Inappropriate?I'd love to be able to move this to the right side of my screen. Is there a way to do this with optional settings?
-
Not at this time. Sorry this user was experiencing an issue that we corrected but it wasn't a functional operation since many of the sidebar's aspects are designed for left-side use.
We'd have to make significant changes to the sidebar to allow it for right-side use and don't have any current plans to do this. Maybe in the future. -
Inappropriate?Thanks for responding Adam :)

Hello. At this time, Yoono can still only be accessed on the left hand side. We have no plans to move it to the right side at this time. However, you can download Yoono Desktop at Yoono.com and move the desktop application anywhere on your screen (right or left) so it's certainly more flexible.
We'll be sure to update this post if the sidebar is ever available on the right side. -

Inappropriate?What has happened to Yoono sidebar? I have a new computer. Windows 7. Downloaded Yoono and its on the wrong side!!! Is theres a way to move it back yet. Otherwise I think I might just remove it. Really do NOT like it there.
I’m OCD freaking out!

Inappropriate?Hi,
This seems to be due to your Firefox configuration. Did you try opening other default sidebar like bookmarks ? I guess they are on the right side too.
The way to fix this was described in this thread:
http://support.yoono.com/yoono/topics...
I'm sorry it's a bit technical, but there is not much else we can do on our side.
