Twitter connection not showing general updates or allowing post but seems to show saved searches

I love Yoono and use it for FB & Twitter in Firefox 3.5.5 on a mac 10.5.8 but a couple of days ago, Twitter feed and updates just stopped working. Odd thing is, it seems I can get my saved searches but no general updates as of Wed Dec 2 at 4:26 pm and I cannot post using Yoono. Keeps telling me my Twitter session has expired and to retry. I do, and it seems to go through the motions of connecting but it's still not working.
