Inappropriate?Hi Ricardo. So after adding Twitter to Yoono, you try to login and if fails? Do you receive an error?
Are you using the latest version of Firefox and Yoono? Thanks in advance!
-
Inappropriate?Hi Adam. Yes, I've tried to login, after add twitter and it fails. I've doowloaded a desktop version of Yoono, and no success again.
-
I am having the very same problem (in Mexico) since I change computer and tray to do a new set up -
Hi Luis,
Yoono can't connect to Twitter if you are using private browsing, or if your firefox is set up to never remember history.
Can you check this in options/privacy settings?
Set the history to 'remember history'
Connect Yoono to Twitter
Then you can reset your setting to what you like.
Let me know! -
Inappropriate? Thanks Ricardo for responding. You're able to reach Twitter.com in your browser no problem, right?
Also, have you ever gotten this to work or always received this error? I'll try to help you from there.
-
Inappropriate?Hi Adam,
Yes, I'm able to reach Twitter.com in my browser. I've been using Yoono, to twitter, facebook, gmail, yahoo mail, and Flickr without problems. But since last weekend I'm not able to login to Twitter. -
Inappropriate?Hey Ricardo, this is a next step to help us narrow down this problem.
Can you reach this page w/ no issues?
http://twitter.com/oauth/authorize?oa...
-
Inappropriate?Hi Adam,
I try the link, and get this message:
Woah there!
This page is no longer valid. It looks like someone already used the token information you provided. Please return to the site that sent you to this page and try again ... it was probably an honest mistake.
-
Hi Ricardo. that's very odd.
When you try to add Twitter to Yoono, can you paste the link you're being taken too? -
Inappropriate?Hi Adam,
How can I do that? Because, Yoono doesn't open a new browser window, when I try to add Twitter to. -
Ah my apologies. Complete oversight on my part for assuming you were using the Firefox version and not desktop version. I'm going to escalate this ticket so we can get this resolved. So sorry for the runaround. -
Hi William, I've seen this a few times on beta builds but I've never been able to pinpoint the exact issue. Let me bring in an engineer to see if we can answer this for you. -
Hi Ricardo. There is a solution for this and we're working on it. Each time this issue, the factors involved are extremely complicated ranging from Twitter downtime, network issues, firewall issues, latency problems and finally, Yoono being the final culprit.
I promise to provide more info when we determine the exact cause. In the meantime, it would be helpful if you could follow this thread to send in a report that helps us pinpoint the connection issues.

Inappropriate? It looks like the token used to authorize yonoo's instance to your twitter has expired (i'm having the same issue after removing the twitter account from yonoo addin and trying to re-add it).
I guess we will have to let the yonoo devs figure out how to reset tokens. -
Inappropriate?Hi again!
We have just released 7.0.9 yesterday, available on www.yoono.com
It fixes Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook issues.
Let us know!
Thanks for your patience. -
yeah no it doesnt fix it.. it still wont connect to twitter -
Inappropriate? The latest version is not compatible with 3.5.7...is it compatible with 3.6??
-
Inappropriate?Sorry I don't get it, our releases are compatible with 3.5.7 and 3.6...
I'm using both releases of Firefox with no such issue.
Did you try 7.0.9 or 7.1.0b1 ?
What message do you get ?
Thanks -
7.0 for firefox.. the only update listed on the site for firefox.. it says twitter service not responding try again later.. but twitter acknowledges the connection.. yoono doesnt... -
Sorry, there must be something in your network configuration that make Yoono unable to connect to Twitter's api (these are not the same addresses than when you go to www.twitter.com) -
Inappropriate?latest update fixed my issue. thanks!
-
Thanks Chris for the follow up! -
Inappropriate?Hey everyone, I was having this problem as well but installed the browser plug-in from Yoono's homepage and it updated the version I just downloaded an hour ago from Firefox's site. Maybe they dont have the newest version up on Firefox's site yet? Thats what fixed it for me. Hope that helps anyone that gets this problem.
-
Thanks for the update, and you are correct, they don't have the newest version on Firefox's site yet! -
Inappropriate?I too cannot connect to Twitter even with the latest version of Yoono (7.2.2) for Firefox (3.6.3).
I've checked my time, timezone. All are correct.
I have Norton Internet Security 2010 (17.7.0.12) and Covenant Eyes filter.
I don't think the latter is my problem because it would tell me if it had blocked a particular page.
Please help!
I’m frustrated
-
Hi, what is the symptom, are you getting an error message (which one), or is the connection throbber spinning indefinitely ?... Thanks -
Inappropriate?I am directed to the Twitter login page. I log in and the page says "Yoono is now connected to Twitter!" However, back in the Yoono sidebar for Firefox, it says, "The service Twitter didn't reply correctly. Check the accuracy of your computer's clock. Try again later."
My clock shows the same time as our office's phone system and my iPhone. What gives?
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?Hi Joseph,
Check also your timezone and Daylight Saving time settings.
Not later than yesterday, a user had the same issue, and his DST setting was not correct. Once set, it worked.
Let me know, thanks -
Inappropriate?Reivax,
My timezone is correct and if I'm not going crazy, we are in Daylight Savings Time, so that box is checked correctly.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Hi Joseph,
Could a proxy or firewall interfere? I've read you are at your office, and many companies have firewalls or proxies that block access to some services.
Could that be the case?
What does your browser display if you type this url:
https://api.twitter.com/
Did you successfully connect to other networks?
Thanks -
Inappropriate?I see the twitter main page. Nothing seems blocked at all.
-
Inappropriate?I run our networks so other than Norton Internet Security's standard protocols, I don't understand what the issue would be.
-
Inappropriate?Neither do I...
Sorry... -
