Yoono desktop window drawing misbehaves with multiple monitors
I have a laptop (MacBook Pro) and I typically have it attached to a large monitor. At home, I just use the 2nd monitor (and the MBP is closed); at work, I use both screens. When I move from home to work, Yoono's window (the desktop app) is drawn so that the top of the window is completely off-screen -- so there's no way to move it. ARGH! This is incredibly frustrating. The only way I've found to fix it is to remove the Yoono folder in the Application Support folder, but that forces me to re-setup all my accounts. :(

Inappropriate?Hi Tom. First, I must mention that Yoono Desktop is still in beta. It's not finished yet. Second, of all, yes I've had this issue as well on our internal builds.
It's actually an issue with most XULRunner and Adobe Air apps (Yoono Desktop is built on Mozilla XUL). The standard window behaviors that native Mac apps have is to never do that.
I do have a better solution though. Unplugging the 2nd monitor and moving the addon to a lower part of the screen and plugging it back in will resolve the issue.
I know this is still an imperfect workaround but it does work and I promise we'll be addressing these issues the best we can when Yoono Desktop reaches 1.0

Thanks so much, Adam! I appreciate your quick response! I'll try your workaround tomorrow. PS. I really really love Yoono! It's an awesome app! I wish you guys could do a plug-in for Safari, but i understand Apple doesn't make it easy. :) -
Yep. Thanks for understanding. We felt that creating a cross-platform desktop app would be better. Please report back on the solution and I hope to have a better response soon. Take care! -
Inappropriate?I have similar problem but my window has gone off the top of the screen and cant move it down. is there a preference file I can throw away or do something in terminal ?
-
Hi James. Did the details above help you resolve it? No terminal command that I know of but resetting the monitors or unplugging and plugging back in will resolve the issue in most cases.
